Welcome to Baywatch

We are a registered guesthouse in the heart of Augusta, on Western Australia's South West coast. Thirteen rooms — some with private ensuites and river views, others with garden outlooks and shared facilities — sit across two levels of a recently renovated property with communal kitchen, dining, lounge, balcony, and outdoor entertaining spaces.   It's a place for couples passing through, families staying longer, groups coming together, and anyone looking for a comfortable base in one of the most rewarding corners of the South West.

Originally built in 1995 and extensively renovated in 2024 under new local ownership, Baywatch Retreat offers comfortable accommodation with a relaxed, contemporary coastal feel. Walking distance to town, minutes from Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Hamelin Bay, and the Margaret River wine region.

Baywatch Retreat's shared spaces include a fully equipped communal kitchen with multiple fridges, ovens, cooktops, cookware, and serving essentials for self-catering; a spacious indoor dining area with long shared tables where continental breakfast is served each morning, plus an outdoor garden courtyard as a second dining option; a comfortable lounge and BBQ facilities with alfresco seating.

There are 13 rooms across two levels, ranging from the Deluxe Ensuite on the upper floor with private ensuite, sitting area, and balcony views over the Blackwood River, Augusta Inlet, and the ocean, to the Studio with garden outlook, balcony access, king bed with fold-out sofa sleeping up to three, and dedicated table space; Deluxe & Standard Queen rooms on upper or lower levels with ocean or garden views.
